Bike Riding

Been seeing a lot of people riding bikes around campus lately. Some of them can do it with no hands/handlebars (via flobots). Wish I could bike without hands, anyone know how to do it/teach me?

I can do it with one hand, which I was very proud of myself for learning. In retrospect, this is probably really easy to do.

Poll: Can yall ride bikes with no hands?

  1. yeah, it's not too difficult if you set your mind to it and practice. i would try and let go of the handlebars and keep my hands right above them, and at first I would have to grab them after about half a second, but slowly I got better. It's one of those things like putting out a candle with your fingers that looks a lot more badass than it is. oh, and while it may seem scarier, it's easier to do it if you're going faster. more inertia.

  3. I am just figuring out how to ride with only my non-dominant hand. I still wobble around a good deal, though.

  4. Ahh I know the pain! Riding with my left is so easy and natural, with the right I am significantly more wobbly. Not super wobbly, but I can feel a huge difference.

  9. Today, I rode my bike with both hands. OLD SCHOOL.

Also, "y'all" has an apostrophe. Real southerners know how to punctuate their dialect.

  10. Was who Bryan Miller?

And I'm not a real southerner at all, not even a fake one. I just like saying 'yall' sometimes. Fuck punctuation
