SMCM Marauder's Map

Someone, I believe Jamie Phillips, made a Marauder's Map (via Harry Potter) for SMCM.  So far the only thing that I've found on the map itself is clicking on Monty to find out how to get on the roof easily.  Oh and I just found something to click on around the Campus Center which leads into the top of the tower...interesting.  Oh and there is something to click on around Anne Arundel.

So check it out, leave a comment if you find any more secrets on the map.

I'm dumb and forgot to link to it.  http://students.smcm.edu/jephillips/Maphome.html

  5. the map is awesome. super impressed that whoever put it together went to each spot to photograph/video what's there.

though, i am curious as to why they didn't show the tree house or the swing in northwoods, but they did show the old beaten up truck. lol

  9. This is cool, but there are a lot of secret places missing.

  10. Daffodil Valley! It's in Historic and leads to a beach front a little ways down from the dove.

North Woods coming in from the NW corner of WC has a path that leads back to a rope swing, a corrugated tin pavilion like structure and a fire pit (all spread out).

There is a bamboo forest with a little path benches on the other side of Mattapany Rd beside the playing fields.

  11. There's a path that goes to a tiny beach between the point and the boathouse. We called it the secret beach, but it's not that secret.

  12. I've always liked the name 'Counterpoint' for that area, it's real nice but the tides have been so high lately.

  13. Theres also the crescent beach at the end of the waterfront. Go towards the point, past where the grass ends. We used to call it "normandy" (the steep hill is next to it)

  14. Counterpoint is if you walk around the path from the Point all the way to the back corner of the peninsula near where those boats are parked, as far as I know. The secret beach can only be accessed from the other side, by the crew boats.

There is also the sunken dock, which is in historic a little farther down than daffodil gulch and the print house.

There is also the "rabbit hole" in the graveyard. One of those large bushes on the far side of the church has a little hole in it on the side facing the water. You have to get on your hands and knees to climb in, but inside is an open space large enough to seat maybe 6 people.

  15. So I think "via" this blog post, my site got the attention of the administration (admittedly this post is really old), but just in case people wanted to visit it in the future, I will have to rebuild it on another domain because Clit Neill found out about it and they shut down my website.

I appreciate the publicity (although people should have actually SUBMITTED to the email and not just posted on this blog), but it's a shame "they" had to find out about it.

    Hope yall enjoyed it.

  16. Boooooooo! Rebuild it! That was definitely really awesome. Never knew about the rabbit hole nor the glasshouse thing on the campus center.
