Someone showed me this like a month ago and I forgot about it, I don't think it was SMCM students though.
Anyway how do yall feel about not wearing shoes on campus. I don't really like shoes tbh. I also don't really understand why you have to wear shoes in dining facilities. Like I get that it's a health code violation, but I don't really understand the rationale. Anyways, shoes!
Hookworm enters the body through the feet and has been proven to reduce the severity of reactions to common allergens. Please keep this in mind the next time you are walking beside an open latrine
ReplyDeleteWhen it is nice out at SMCM I almost never wear shoes, hell the only time you really need them are when you are in the campus center or at the waterfront (damn oysters)
ReplyDeletei rarely wear shoes. walked at graduation barefoot, and was far from alone. i definitely understand wanting them in public restrooms/ latrines (? from above), but dining halls and such, it's practically no different from flip flops... unless you're eating off the floor.
ReplyDeletehaaa I hope the girl she saw was me. I love not wearing shoes on campus.
ReplyDeleteWhich "dreadful steps" do people think she's talking about?
I may have not been clear enough, but I think it was students from a different campus with no affiliation to SMCM. I'm guessing it was at some campus with a big staircase, UMD has a lot of those.
