Lego
Whatup readers. If you have Lego from your childhood that you don't want anymore you should give/sell it to me. I can pay in cash, rikaloff, or Keystone Ice (not light).

Graduation 2010
"May the tide
that is entering even now
the lip of our understanding
carry you out
beyond the face of fear
may you kiss
the wind then turn from it
certain that it will
love your back may you
open your eyes to water
water waving forever
and may you in your innocence
sail through this to that" -Lucillle Clifton.

This was Tricia Realbuto's status about graduation, felt like reposting it here.
Congratulations everyone, I hope I see some of you again next year. Harrington 3 has a couch to crash on.

School is over!
School is over yall. If you are still doing homework/not drinking then you are doing this whole summer thing wrong. I'll be here til Friday probably.
Shirts! Gonna try to make a stencil tomorrow probably or something, who knows. Feeling real lazy now that school is over. We'll see what happens. Chances are I'll have a stencil and spraypaint, and you should provide a shirt.
Hey everybody have a great summer, I met a lot of new people this year and all were pretty sweet!

500 POSTS
I have literally made 500 entries into the SMCM LOL BLOG. This is absurd. I will now tell yall the history of this...'bloggerything'
It was the summer of 2007. Bush was still our President (RIP [j/k]) and I was not a girl, but not yet a woman. College was looming. I was stalking the Class of 2011 SMCM Facebook group, looking for potential 'friends'.
I came across Kt Zawodny. She appeared to be a 'lesbian' due to her haircut (she isn't, I have proof), and we had a mutual friend or two, so she seemed like an ideal choice. I friended her and we began talking about smoothies at one point. Also she once called me at like 3AM during the summer asking for directions around Baltimore. Good times.
Flash forward to Fall of 2007. There has been an armed assault/thieving (half the school knows what I'm talking about, the other half has no idea) near historic. I am in Kt's room and we are making smoothies.
Flash forward a week. We are in the Campus Center getting smoothies. We eat them, they are delicious. We decide to start a blog wherein we review all of the smoothies that the Daily Grind offers. You can find that blog here, it was called 'Blending Buddies'.
So we did that for about a month and then gave up as you can see.
Flash forward to the summer after Freshman year. Bryan Miller, Ben Casto, and myself are best friends. We spend the summer hanging out, drinking, tanning, and shaving our legs. At one point I am bored and decide to start a blog about SMCM. Originally I kept my identity a secret, but then I gave up on that.
The first post I made at college was talking about how I will be live-blogging the SGA meetings in the future. Here is a link to the very first SGA live-blog. Feel like I'm going down memory lane. Actually don't bother reading this, I sound like an asshole dickface at times.
Anyway, thank you to all my readers, I really appreciate it. Some people I would like to thank
- Dean Bayless and Kelly Smolinsky for telling me to stop being an asshole on this blog (dunno if I actually took their advice)
- People who have graduated/transferred but still read
- Anna Kasicky
- Kt for getting me started on this
- Loyal Readers
- People like Kristina who told all their friends about this
- Catherine Skinner for support and love
- Other people that I have forgotten
I <3 us all!

SMCM Oral Tradition
So, I'm quickly approaching 500 posts here, and I was wondering if people would want to contribute stories or traditions and such regarding St. Mary's. When I was a first year, hearing stories from older people about St. Mary's was one of my favorite things, and I'd really like to hear some more.
SGA Election Results
Here are the winners of the SGA elections. Seems like a solid group of dudes, looking forward to working with them next year/banging my gavel and yelling at them.
Glad to see Alex Walls and Becky White again, future SGA presidents I think. Next year will be Mark and Katie, then Alex and Becky. If this happens then I feel like I would be the boss of a political machine (via Boss Tweed) and would be determining/frauding election results.

Relay for Life
Relay for Life was awhile ago, but I'm finally bloggering about it! I set up a playlist for the event which turned out pretty okay/good, and it was a lot of fun. Some other Hawk Radio DJs were there as well playing music the whole night.
Also at one point we thought we were very clever/funny when we started playing YMCA but then Rickrolled the event by playing 'Never Gonna Give You Up'
I also participated in the Drag lap. I raised 10$ for cancer research by whoring myself out, and as a group we raised about 80$. It was pretty sweet. The event in total raised over $18,000 I think which is awesome.

May Day
How glorious! May Day went very well I thought. People started at the Greens, and then rode around down to the waterfront.
I was waiting at the waterfront at one point, when a car with a bunch of topless girls drove by, onto Route 5, and were immediately pulled over by a police car. It was kinda funny/sad. I think he let them off.
Excited for next year!
