Bradford Persistent Agent

We are getting Bradford Persistent Agent on our network. The main goal is to ensure that everyone has antivirus software running, and possibly to curb P2P networks on campus ( I don't know if this is true at all really). I researched the software a bit, and it seems like sometimes it is a nuisance and occasionally messes up, but I think that is to be expected of any software of this type. I'm pretty sure they have this kind of thing at most major Universities, so I don't think it'll be a big deal, but hopefully some students will make a big deal about it because that is usually pretty fun, like last fall with the protest policy (which actually was a big issue and I'm glad other people noticed it).

  1. I'm with you on this one. There are some questions left to be addressed, such as, what if I have Mac OS 10.3.9?

Or what if I use a netbook that runs Ubuntu?

Free software is dead on college campuses now?

I don't recognize many of the colleges using it. Central University? Harding University? Avon Old Farms School? What's next, ITT Technical Institute?
