College Park

I am currently in College Park visiting a friend. It's really nice here. I like the fact that they have like...stores and such.

For reals though it's awesome how they can just walk to the DC Metro station and go to DC and see bands play music whenever they want.

And it's a really nice looking campus. It's really well put together; like St. Mary's is beautiful, but I think a lot of the beauty, especially on South Campus, is just how random the setup is. Like WC has a great design and everything, but it's too much like College Park in that it's all well designed. But then you come down to the hill and see three dorms in a semi circle, with Monty in the middle.

I don't know, maybe it's hard to explain and I'm just bad at explaining, but there's really no overall design idea behind St. Mary's, it was just built as needed. And that's a lot what I find beautiful about it, that it just feels natural and not preplanned. That there are still woods and swamps to explore, and areas of campus that you'll never see if you don't try to find them.

But seriously, I wish we had some fucking public transportation down hurrrr

New Direction

I need to take this blog in a new direction. That is why I just sent the link to Bryan/Ben. Neither are on right now but one of the two will be the first to see this masterpiece

I think the issue is that I'm not at college right now so it's hard to write about it.

You should give me some advice LOL

But, this blog is going on hiatus until August 20th. The normal daily postings you are obviously used to by now will end.

And I will probably blog about all those topics I already blogged about again.

LULZ blog as a verb

I love you all

Church Point

The Point is a pretty sweet place. There is sand and water and a giant cross. I imagine if our campus were further south it may have been lit on fire at one point or another. Luckily this has not yet happened as far as I know

Pros:
Sand and water!
Fire!
Public Safety doesn't come that often? Actually I don't know if this is true, I've never had issues with PS writing people up at The Point, but maybe others have

Cons:
It's cold which quickly leaves you not drunk
Sand and water!

The Point is best during the day when it's nice out. You've probably ended up there at other times, like when it's ridiculously cold and windy and you have no idea why you are there, and that's when it's kinda horrible

I really like sand :/

The Daily Grind

The Daily Grind is probably the greatest thing about SMCM. Okay that is a lie because if a small food store was the best thing about SMCM I would probably kill myself. Suicidal talk aside, it's a pretty amazing place for a lot of reasons. (1) All of your friends work there! This means it's easy to get free smoothies, and it's always a fun place to visit! (2) Speaking of smoothies, o god the smoothies. I once made a blog with Kt Zawodny and Ryan Whiteis about the smoothies. We rated them and such. But then three days later we forgot about it. Regardless, the smoothies are amazing. They use real fruit and #4 is probably the best smoothie they have. (3) The Grind is amazing because despite being approximately 10x5 feet, it has everything found in a grocery store including honey, ramen, mac & cheese and candy!

In conclusion, you should probably spend all of your flex there.

St. Mary's College of Maryland

This is a blog about St. Mary's. LOL

I go there. My name is a secret but it's probably easy to figure it out?

Either way this is the first post. Hopefully this will not fail like the smoothie blog. LOL
