Two Recent Student Creations

Two recent student made things to bring to yalls attention.  First is a video from Relay for Life.  It's pretty cute and well done, and Danny Patrick Thomas Ruthenberg- Marshall made it.  EDIT:  Apparently Shannon Vandever made it.  Sorry!

Other than the A capella it's p cool.

Next is an opinion piece in the terrorist newspaper (that joke literally never gets old) about making the campus living wage a reality, which I was paid one (1) beer to blog about.  You can find it here.  I thought it was really well written.

A Cappella Emails

I have to make a confession.  I hate A Cappella.  I don't hate people that sing it, but I kinda hate A Cappella unless they are singing the pokemon themesong or something.  I don't even know why, I think I just don't like singing.  When I listen to music I can't really understand the words, so I kinda just listen to the general sounds.  Anyway,

Actually this didn't really annoy me, I thought it was really funny tbh.  <3 u student clubs.  yall are very talented and I wish you all the best of luck in Monty 25 this weekend!

Band-Less Thursday

Thursdays at the Grind this week will feature...no bands! That's pretty exciting.

Instead all of the sexually named A Cappella groups on campus will be performing, including Interchorus, T&A, and SMCMen.

All of these names make me giggle, but over at the St. Mary's Ultimate Team like to keep things classier by expressing our childish love of sexual references via acronyms (SMUT).

Go watch people sing awkward songs!
