So, I'm quickly approaching 500 posts here, and I was wondering if people would want to contribute stories or traditions and such regarding St. Mary's. When I was a first year, hearing stories from older people about St. Mary's was one of my favorite things, and I'd really like to hear some more.
There is a monster in the Pond. It eats ducks (that's why there are so few) and comes out only on a full moon (that's why you never see it).

ReplyDeleteBack in the 70s, the jazz band, which was apparently a pretty big deal at the time, used to take trips to go to different schools/venues around the state and even went to some out of state competitions. What's funny is that on these trips, a lot of them would be taking bong rips in the back of the bus. all the director asked was that they stop smoking when they were a few minutes from a toll booth so all the pot smoke could air out in time.
